Samuel Quartier's international career began with old world hospitality education in France and Europe.
Born in Nice, Samuel learned from the best, training at France's respected luxury establishments such as Cannes Carlton Intercontinental Hotel and the Five-Star Four Seasons Resort Provence in Fayence.
As a bilingual sommelier and wine consultant with 20 years of experience in the food and wine industry, Samuel’s career has taken him to top culinary and wine regions worldwide. There, he developed invaluable industry relationships while learning the intricacies of local food and wine culture.
Samuel moved to Toronto 12 years ago where his expertise as a professional sommelier and his reputation have been sought across the industry. He has managed world famous restaurants and wine programs like the CN Tower's 360 Restaurant, Oliver & Bonacini's America Restaurant, and Auberge du Pommier.
Samuel is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, holds a degree in hospitality, and has studied with WSET.
